Software Support Engineer (WFH)

We are looking for a Software Support Engineer to provide production support and troubleshooting for our web-based application running in a Windows environment with SQL Server as the database. The ideal candidate will have a technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical users.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with ticketing systems (e.g., Jira, Zendesk, ServiceNow).

• Knowledge of server configurations and Windows-based deployments.

• Familiarity with basic networking concepts, IIS, web technologies and cloud.

• Prior experience in a customer-facing support role.


Work Hours: Rotational shifts (24/6), based on project requirements. The work schedule is 8 to 9 hours per day, Monday to Friday, totaling 40 work hours per week.

Technical Support Executive / Helpdesk Engineer

Work Experience: 1 - 4 Years

Work Location: Infopark, Kochi

Mode of Work: Remote (Temporary)


Responsibilities:

Answer inbound IT Helpdesk calls from customers across the globe and perform basic troubleshooting.

Initiates follow up calls with customers.

Responding to client IT support requests via chats, calls, and tickets.

Providing technical support via remote access.

Update and monitor ticketing systems.



Essential requirement:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

Willing to work in shift rotational shift

Proven experience of working as a Desktop Support Engineer, Technical Support Specialist, or a related role.

Good knowledge of working with Windows and MacOS systems.

Proficient knowledge of computer systems and their peripherals.

Experience in SharePoint Online, Microsoft Office 365, Ms Outlook, Ms Word, Ms Excel, OneDrive etc is essential.

Minimum 6 months voice experience in International Technical Support.

Knowledge in infrastructure concepts like Active Directory, Windows Servers, DNS, DHCP, RDP, AV, VM, MDM, Backup, VLAN, VPN, Servers, Firewall, Router, switch, Printer etc. would be an added advantage
