നടന്‍ ബാല ആശുപത്രിയില്‍. കടുത്ത ചുമയും വയറുവേദനയും അനുഭവപ്പെട്ടതിനെ തുടര്‍ന്നാണ് ചികിത്സ തേടിയത്. നിലവിൽ ഐസിയുവില്‍ ചികിത്സയിലാണ് താരം. കരൾ സംബന്ധമായ അസുഖത്തെ തുടർന്ന് കഴിഞ്ഞ ദിവസമാണ് കൊച്ചിയിലെ സ്വകാര്യ ആശുപത്രിയില്‍ ബാലയെ പ്രവേശിപ്പിച്ചത്. കരള്‍രോഗ ചികിത്സയുടെ ഭാഗമായി ഒരാഴ്ച മുമ്പും ബാല ഹോസ്പിറ്റലില്‍ ചികിത്സ തേടി എത്തിയിരുന്നു.ബാലയുടെ സഹോദരനും സംവിധായകനുമായ ശിവ ഇന്ന് ഉച്ചയോടെ കൊച്ചിയിലെത്തും. ബാലയുടെ അമ്മയും ഭാര്യ എലിസബത്തിന്റെ കുടുംബാംഗങ്ങളുമാണ് ഇപ്പോൾ ആശുപത്രിയിലുള്ളത്.
