2000 രൂപയുടെ നോട്ടുകള്‍ പിന്‍വലിക്കാനൊരുങ്ങി ആര്‍ബിഐ
രാജ്യത്ത് 2000 രൂപയുടെ നോട്ടുകള്‍ പിന്‍വലിക്കാനൊരുങ്ങി ആര്‍ബിഐ. രണ്ടായിരം രൂപ നോട്ടുകളുടെ നിയമപ്രാബല്യം തുടരുമെന്ന് റിസര്‍വ് ബാങ്ക് ഓഫ് ഇന്ത്യ അറിയിച്ചു. നിലവില്‍ ആളുകളുടെ കൈവശമുള്ള 2000 രൂപ നോട്ടുകള്‍ ഉപയോഗിക്കാം. അതേസമയം നോട്ടിന്റെ അച്ചടി അവസാനിപ്പിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്. നോട്ടുകള്‍ വിതരണം ചെയ്യരുതെന്ന് ബാങ്കുകള്‍ക്ക് ആര്‍ബിഐ നിര്‍ദേശം നല്‍കി.ബാങ്കുകളില്‍ നിന്നോ എടിഎമ്മുകളില്‍ നിന്നോ പുതിയ രണ്ടായിരം രൂപയുടെ നോട്ടുകള്‍ ലഭിക്കില്ല. കൈവശമുള്ള നോട്ടുകള്‍ 2023 സെപ്റ്റംബര്‍ 30നുള്ളില്‍ മാറ്റി വാങ്ങാനും സൗകര്യം നല്‍കണമെന്ന് ആര്‍ബിഐ ബാങ്കുകളോട് ആവശ്യപ്പെട്ടിട്ടുണ്ട്.
RBI is ready to withdraw Rs 2000 notes in the country. The Reserve Bank of India has announced that Rs 2000 notes will continue to be valid. 2000 rupees notes that people currently have can be used. Meanwhile, the printing of the note has been stopped. RBI has instructed banks not to issue notes. New 2000 rupee notes will not be available from banks or ATMs. RBI has also asked banks to provide facility for exchange of existing notes by September 30, 2023.
